Elastomer heat-shrinkable tubing<\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

The high-temperature resistant, and very durable elastomer FITCOTUBE\u00ae heat shrink tubing<\/strong> is widely used for cable sheathing. The product exhibits outstanding oil and fuel resistance and can be safely used at ambient temperatures between -74 \u00b0C and +150 \u00b0C. These characteristics allow applications in aircraft and vehicle construction, for example, where extreme mechanical, chemical and thermal stresses are encountered. Furthermore, these types of heat shrink tubing are suitable for the protection of measuring probes which are exposed to high temperature loads and aggressive media.<\/p>\n

Further, the FITCOTUBE\u00ae is also available using the fluoroelastomer Viton\u00ae+ as its base material. This material offers the advantages of being able to withstand even more demanding temperatures and has a higher shrinkage rate than conventional elastomer heat-shrinkable tubing.<\/p>\n
