Hybrid cables and multifunctional cables

GREMCO’s hybrid and multifunctional cables are a composition of electrical cables and media-carrying hoses. Such combinations of hoses (so-called “multi-lumen” hoses) and cables are necessary, for example, in catheter technology or imaging. In such cases, a hybrid cable enables simultaneous imaging and exposure. Hybrid cables are also an integral part of other applications in medical engineering, such as in biopsy forceps, endoscopy and irrigation.

Hybrid cables are nevertheless also regularly used in the automotive industry, such as for washing facilities. In addition, multifunctional cables are used for fluid heating in general industry. Heating wires keep the transported liquid at a constant temperature so that it can be subsequently processed without delay.
