Heat-shrink tubing made of fluoropolymers

Semi-rigid, abrasion-resistant, non-flammable FITCOTUBE® heat-shrink tubing, made from fluoropolymers, for reliable insulation and excellent mechanical protection of wires and components. Also, suitable for high ambient temperatures and for the protection of soldered and crimped connections.

Thanks to GREMCO’s modified PTFE, FEP and PVDF/KYNAR®, our fluoropolymers FITCOTUBE® tubing has exceptional chemical resistance and can be successfully used in the automotive, aerospace, medical and environmental industries.

Especially Kynar (PVDF) heat shrinkable tubing is widely used in sensor manufacturing. The main focus lies on the application in temperature sensors. There they are utilized for sensor protection, as they have a remarkable dielectric strength even at high temperatures, despite their thin wall thickness.
Kynar protective tubing is often found in medical applications, but is generally well suited for processes where high chemical and temperature resistance is a prerequisite.
